I would stress that at this date, nothing has been decided with regard to these dates, both the HSCC and the French have put together their calendars and we now need to have a debate as to which races the UK Classic Formula 3 may want to participate in.  The French are in discussion with a significant race promoter for a big event at the end of November, but I cannot say at this stage where that might be held.  Note, there is also a race this year at Imola on October 20th/21st which will cater for classic formula 3 cars, ’74 to ’84 period.  It is one week after the last round of the French series at Ledenon so there may not be too many participants from them, but certainly there will be some Italians present and if anybody fancies Italy as opposed to the Silverstone finals, then I have the necessary contact details.

I was hoping that we would have a big turnout for the Brands round so that we would have the opportunity to sit down and discuss the 2012 season lack of entries etc.  We are still able to do that, and if the participants would like to get together, then I would suggest that we do so at 1pm at my awning.  Bring your own chair if you want to sit down.  We won’t make it a long meeting, but if you have views that might be interesting to the rest of the participants, please come along and express them.

Another reminder that the HSCC will be checking vehicle papers at Brands so if you forgot them at Oulton Park or even did not compete at the last round, then please bring along your HTP or VIF papers for checking.

Hopefully the weather will be kind to us so that we can enjoy a nice Sunday’s racing.  I look forward to seeing you all,
