Dear Iain,
It was nice talking to you this morning about our meeting and the possibility of us running two or three grids in Jerez the week before (13/14 October).
Well, the Estoril figures in relation of participation conditions and costs will be for Formula Junior entrants:
- Track time: One 25 min free practice, one 25 min qualifying and two 25 min races, giving a total of 100 minutes of track activity.
- Program: As soon as I decide which other grids we shall have (apart from HFO and Formula Junior) we shall draw a preliminary timetable and will send you.
- Costs: Entry and timing fee, insurance, Drivers Club for two - - € 680 per entry.
- Hotel allowance: Per entry: 3 or 4 Room Nights (depending on the event having 3 or 4 days) in a 4 star hotel. Entrants with 2 cars/entries – 5 or 6 RN; With 3 cars/entries – 6 or 7 RN.
For each additional car entered by the same Entrant – 1 additional Room Night.
Travel Agents are once again Be Travel - Sybille Harbritter. We have had this week a meeting with all hoteliers of the Estoril/Cascais region and because of this week's Berlin Tourist Fair, negotiations with each individual hotel will start early next week.

Estoril and Cascais are one of Europe's most sought after resorts with (visit: www.estorilcoast-tourism.com) :
- Some 280km nearer to central Europe than Portimão.
- Lisbon airport some 35km from Estoril.
- Marvelous beaches, and good weather (sometimes two or three degrees warmer than Portimão)
- Valuable history and monuments in the Lisbon-Sintra-Cascais triangle (within a radius of 30km on motorway),
- Some of Portugal's best golf courses.
- Europe's biggest casino with come extraordinary shows. Some of my 2003, 2004 and 2005 Estoril Historic Festival entrants will certainly remember.
- Five Shopping Centers and Retail Park within 8km from the circuit.
- A concentration of a great variety of fabulous hotels in the most attractive locations (the circuit is much closer to most hotels and the beaches than in Portimão).
- An FIA Grade 2 circuit, which held the Portuguese F1 Grand Prix from 1984 to 1996.
Could you please forward this to your Formula 2 and Formula 3 fellow potential entrants. PLEASE, because I do not have their email addresses.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards
Francisco Santos
