| As stated in Autosport Sports Extra this week, owners of 1981-1984 built F3 cars will get a rare chance to race on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit during the HSCC’s Historic Superprix in July.
Although the Classic F3 Championship has a cut-off date of December 31st 1980, the Brands race will also be a round of the French F3 Classic Championship which, like the Monaco F3 race, accepts cars built up to the end of 1984, including the Ralt RT3.
CF3 spokesperson Reg James is hopeful of a strong grid, expecting to get around 10 cars from France. We would like to see over 30 cars on the grid. Also the race will celebrate 25 years of Classic F3 which, started life in 1986 as Toyota F3.
